This number has called me numerous times over the past few months and ever leaves voice Mail. It’s unknown to me. I run three businesses so assume this scum bag is a telemarketer. Blocked

I answered the phone and said hello, A young woman with a vaguely asian accent said they were from "NSW Department of Public Affairs" (which is to do with the police). I didn't say anything else as it just felt like a scam. They had no reason to call my mobile number and didn't even ask for me by name. I stayed on the line silently till they hung up.

Indian woman claiming to be from Telstra. Tried to scare me by telling me that my IP address has been made public! Haha. I asked for her extension at Telstra so I could call her back -- at Telstra. Naturally she couldn't and terminated the call.

I received an email saying PayPal would be taking $172 from my account for my order and to call this number if I had not authorised the order. As I had not ordered anything.I called the number and was promptly asked to go to the App Store and download an app. As soon as I said I was not prepared to do this I was hung up on. Obviously a scammer.

I've had 2 calls from this number, both going to straight to my 'missed calls'. They seem to be bypassing voicemail. Anyone who does that, creeps me out and there's no way I'll ever ring their number. Calls made 16 & 27 April 2024.

I also got the same card. I called him and he was nice to deal with and was glad I called as it was important. I asked him why the card doesn't have a company name on it and he explained the government doesn't allow identifying features on the card.

I got called from 0485 901 067 few times a week, then I blocked , and now the same line call be except being 068 and the end, also 065 . I never pick up, and according to report from here I wouldn’t want to pick up any of these. As they never leave any voice message.

I’m guessing a scam call based on everyone else’s calls. I struggled to understand his accent although he was very polite. Something about saving $4000 a year with insulation, initially told me it was a NSW government thing for all commercial properties, however I told him I didn’t have a commercial property and he changed it to all residents. Number is not a NSW area code however.

These buggers called me 14 times in one day, changing the last three numbers of their fake caller ID for each new call to try to get around me blocking their number. Blocking the range of numbers for any calls that started with 0285525 stopped them getting through.

The phone number (02) 8006 7792 was included as part of an attempted email scam using PayPal. The scam also used the name Amanda Fayette and AUS_DIGITAL_SELLER, which are both reported as used as part scams.

The message when I picked up the phone - was that they were from the ANZ bank, asking if I had made a request to debit my account for $1200. Press 1 if you don't authorise this money, press 2 if you want to authorise.
Sounds like they have copied a recording from a bank. The number is not an ANZ number. This is a scam!
